We have a 15-year old navy Lazy-Boy recliner. The new ones now have a lumbar pad - could we have one installed on our old one?

Purchased large powered recliner. From day brought in home needed new left side. From there bent bolt one bracket higher than other v. Chair out of square. Motor bracket broken, I cannot remember how many times it has been fixed in 2 + years last four times brought into house with parts falling out. took back same day this went on for 3 months bring in -take out. Main office executive said would replace it at no cost but wanted existing chair to inspect. I said I refuse to take it back and it was at the lazyboy store in Boise, Idaho. Three weeks later no chair I call and get this BS everything incl how I beat my wife routine. I talk with the Boise store owner who says I will work out a deal -Yea $650.00 for wreck they sold me a buy the one they had on the floor full price. I was told that was it. I am fighting a slipped disk and other health problems so I have to sleep in the chair. I thought I bought the best. I paid cash and all mI have seen is agrivation pain.I should mnever have waited so-long I understand lazyboy sales have dropped. I now see why. The best way is take this nightmare to small claims court. I am not going to get sick over dealing with unresponsible ---you know.

how do you get the back off a Lazy Boy Recliner? Mine is binding and I know the back just lifts off, but there must be a release.
